The Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union campaign first launched in January 2019 and in 2020 grew to actively promote credit unions in 24 states. We’re on target to add six more states in early 2021, including New York.
The campaign, part of the CUNA-led Credit Union Awareness Initiative, aims to raise consumer consideration for credit unions. So far, nearly 2 billion ads have been served, and over 4.5 million consumers have visited YourMoneyFurther.com to learn more about and locate a credit union. This digital-first, targeted campaign aims to overcome industry myths while raising the brand profile for credit unions in a competitive, digitally fueled, and intensifying financial services marketplace.
