The Great Regret: Navigating Today's Job Market, Recruitment & Retention
Diane Pape Reed, CEO, CUDoctor
While you've probably heard of the "Great Resignation," you may not yet have heard of the "Great Regret," but you will... It's made up of all those people who left their long-standing jobs during the Pandemic, but who are now regretting their decisions. Why do we care? Because those same former employees are now passive job candidates looking for new jobs. My guess is that you might need a few qualified individuals to fill open positions at your credit union. Better yet, you may be adding new positions due to your growth over the past few years. Where do you look? How do you advertise? What should you pay? What kind of benefits are potential super stars looking for in their next position? Who do you add first - an HR Generalist or a Compliance Manager? How 'bout keeping up with the expertise needed in IT?
This informative, interactive session will examine these questions and more about today's job market, recruitment and retention. Better yet, you'll have the chance to learn from the industry's best practices and maybe even develop an employment related partnership with your peers while you're at it.

11:45am - 12:45pm
