NEFE High School Financial Planning Program - Rochester

NEFE’s High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP) has improved the financial literacy of millions of students across the country for over 30 years. Each workshop offers award-winning, noncommercial curriculum which aligns with state and national standards and provides easy-to-use lesson plans as well as free instructor manuals and workbooks for every student.

At the one day workshop you will:

  • Be introduced to the all program materials
  • Explore the HSFPP lessons
  • Gain Confidence in teaching the program
  • Learn how to add value to student learning
  • Find out how to get your free classroom materials

  • Teachers responsible for personal finance instruction
  • Volunteers who co-teach the HSFPP
  • Parents or instructors of homeschoolers

  • Those responsible for introducing teachers to the HSFPP

There is no fee for the program

HenzaBarbara Henza, Financial and Consumer Educator, Cornell Cooperative Extension Cortland County

Barbara Henza is a Financial and Consumer Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension Cortland County with over 25 years’ experience in the area of personal financial and consumer education. Her primary program areas include family resource management, budgeting, credit and debt management, youth financial education, consumer issues and housing. An Accredited Financial Counselor and a Certified Credit Report Reviewer, she has worked extensively with families and individuals experiencing financial difficulties to find a workable solution as well as build a sound financial foundation for the future.
