Three inspiring featured speakers are slated to take the stage at the New York Credit Union Association’s 2017 Annual Meeting & Convention. The event will be held June 1-4 at the Sagamore Resort on Lake George in Bolton Landing, New York.

The presenters include: Record-breaking astronaut Capt. Scott Kelly, retired Navy SEAL Marcus Lutrell and acclaimed speaker Kevin Brown.

Marcus Luttrell is a decorated Navy SEAL and author of the #1 New York Times best-selling book, Lone Survivor, which recounts the harrowing story of four Navy SEALs who journeyed into the mountainous border of Afghanistan and Pakistan on Operation Redwing. The book is an unparalleled motivational story of survival and a moving tribute to Luttrell’s friends and teammates who did not make it off the mountain.

In January 2014, Luttrell’s amazing story made the leap to the big screen with the blockbuster film, Lone Survivor, which was directed by Peter Berg and starred Mark Wahlberg as Luttrell.

Scott Kelly, a NASA astronaut and retired Navy Captain, has laid the groundwork for the future of space travel and exploration, and he continues to garner media exposure. From the cover of TIME to live interviews on TODAY to features in Forbes and on CNN, the world remains in awe of Kelly’s record-breaking year in space. An astronaut since 1996, Kelly's achievements over his illustrious 20-year career with NASA earned him the coveted position as America’s first year-round astronaut.

During his presentation, Kelly will share life lessons and personal stories that reveal unique and valuable advice on pushing one’s own limits, and provide insights on the leadership and teamwork required in such demanding conditions.

Kevin Brown is the Assistant Vice President of Marketing for SERVPRO, an international franchise system with nearly 1,700 franchise locations. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Brown is also a highly sought after keynote speaker. His unconventional path to business and personal success has included working in a funeral home, washing oil drums, selling household appliances door to door and buying a franchise at the age of seventeen.

Brown has overcome personal tragedy, self-sabotage and a lack of resources to create a life that not only makes him proud, but inspires him to want to help others. He is passionate about helping people expand their vision, develop their potential and grow their results.
