Each year, our Recognition Awards program honors credit unions and individuals for their exceptional contributions to the credit union movement and the members they serve. We will once again be celebrating all of the Recognition Award winners during our 2019 Annual Meeting & Convention!

Credit Union Awards
Please note: All credit union Recognition Awards will be submitted online! In an effort to make the submission process as streamlined and easy as possible, the Association and CUNA have partnered together to develop an online submission system. Simply visit the 2019 CUNA Awards portal and follow the online instructions.

The following awards are presented to deserving credit unions each year: the Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Member Service Award, the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award and the Desjardins Financial Education Awards.

Also, credit unions cannot submit a program for recognition that is simply a continuation or repeat of a program which won an award in 2018.

Individual Awards
The following awards are presented to deserving individuals each year: Outstanding Young Professional, Outstanding Professional, Outstanding Volunteer and the New York Credit Union Hall of Fame.

Note: All individual Recognition Awards will still be sent directly to the Association, and cannot be submitted online.

Important Dates for 2019
January 18: Submission deadline
Early February: Individual Recognition Award winners notified
Mid-February: Credit Union Recognition Award winners notified
June 14: Individual and Credit Union Recognition Award winners honored at Convention.
