Speaker: Michael Blanchard and Jeff Fairchild, Blanchard Consulting Group
Mike Blanchard is the CEO of Blanchard Consulting Group. He has extensive experience in human resources and has conducted or supported over 500 compensation planning, market research, and organizational development projects over the past 25 years, with over 20 years specifically for the banking industry. Mike has presented to various banking associations including the American Bankers Association, the Sheshunoff CEO Conference, the Bank CEO Network, and several state banking associations on a variety of compensation and board governance topics.
With a master's in advanced industrial and organizational psychology, his experience includes advising clients on assessing total compensation for executives and directors, incentive planning, equity plan design, salary administration, and performance management.
Jeff Fairchild is the Senior Vice President and lead consultant at Blanchard Consulting Group. Previously, Jeff served as the SVP and managing director of Newcleus Compensation Advisors. He has consulted with compensation committees, boards of directors, and senior executives on executive and director compensation practices since 2010. He assists clients in developing cash and equity annual and long-term incentive plans and provides analysis and guidance to ensure market-aligned pay and proper salary grade structures. Jeff graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration followed by receiving an MBA from Mercer University. He has worked in various industries including energy, medical devices, pharmaceutical, legal, and financial services.
