Recognition Awards
Each year, our Recognition Awards program honors individuals for their exceptional contributions to the credit union movement and the members they serve. This year, all Recognition Award winners will be honored at EXCEL 25, the New York Credit Union Association's Annual Meeting & Convention on Saturday, June 14 at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY!
Individual Awards
The following awards are presented to deserving individuals each year: Outstanding Young Professional, Outstanding Professional, Outstanding Volunteer, and the New York Credit Union Hall of Fame.
Note: All individual Recognition Awards applications must be submitted online.

Credit Union Awards
On January 1, 2024 CUNA and NAFCU merged to create America’s Credit Unions.
As part of this transformative journey, America’s Credit Unions has decided to suspend what was previously referred to as the CUNA Awards Program. This hiatus will allow them to carefully evaluate the best way to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of our industry, aligning with the vision, mission, and purpose of their new organization.
Since our state level awards are closely connected to the national level awards program, the New York Credit Union Association will also be suspending the New York Credit Union Recognition Awards program. We look forward to taking this time to assess our state level program and are excited to see the refreshed program from America’s Credit Unions.
