NYCUA’s Mellin on announcement of Rep. Antonio Delgado as Lieutenant Governor
Governor Kathy Hochul announced today that she has appointed Rep. Antonio Delgado, who currently represents New York’s 19th Congressional District, as Lieutenant Governor.
Following the announcement, New York Credit Union Association President/CEO William J. Mellin issued the following statement:
On behalf of the New York Credit Union Association, I congratulate Congressman Antonio Delgado for taking on his new statewide role as Lieutenant Governor. During his time in Congress, he not only proved himself to be a friend of credit unions, but to be a thoughtful and dynamic leader. His skills will now be an asset not only to Gov. Kathy Hochul, but to the state as a whole. We look forward to continue working with both him and the governor as they work to improve the lives of all New York state consumers.
